Italian team experiencing Life in Petersfield

Hi guys,

We are Camilla and Elisa, two Italian girls, just arrived in England and working as interns in Petersfield for Life Magazines and Navigate Design.

We come from Trentino, a very peaceful and lovely place in the Dolomites (North-East of Italy). We are here to improve our English knowledge (specially speaking and listening of course) and to put it into practice within our daily and working life. In order to do this every day we take the train (always on time) from Portsmouth to Petersfield, sit down at our desk in front of our PsC and be part of Navigate Design staff, involved in planning and attending events, updating mailing lists and databases, research and writing press releases, and many other jobs.

In the next weeks we will tell you our first experiences with Navigate Design, with Life in Petersfield and with everything else….

Just to start telling you something, we obviously are surprised at this sunny (and almost stunning) weather and we really hope such a nice weather will last still for a long time. We enjoyed last Sunday going sightseeing on the Isle of Wight, spending all the day long between its marvellous landscapes and thatched houses.

During our staying here in England we are living with host families and day by day we can easily realize there are so many differences between English habits and the Italian ones; one of these is the way of cooking pasta… please, don’t cook it too much and use a big and full of boiling pot water …
